When we are born again, we are not only forgiven—we are positioned in Christ with authority. This authority is not based on our strength or merit but on Jesus’ finished work. Just as Adam was given dominion in the beginning, we too have been restored to walk in power and purpose through Christ. To walk in this authority is to recognize that we are seated with Him in heavenly places, far above every power of darkness. It is living with the awareness that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. The more we align our hearts and words with God’s truth, the more we exercise the authority He has entrusted to us. This is how we overcome, not by striving, but by standing in who we already are in Him.
